Manywords.net Editorial Review

Overall, Ancient Civilizations is an excellent read with an imaginative spin on historical people and events. The book is well-researched, and it is easy to become invested in the characters. Fans of Indiana Jones, Stargate, and Edgar Rice Burroughs will enjoy Ancient Civilizations the most. However, the fast-paced action, unexpected twists, and great cast of characters should appeal to everyone. With this first book in the Lamentations and Magic series, the author has also set the scene for what promises to be a riveting saga. Read the full review here.

Note from the Author

I set out to create a book and series that I would like to read. It had to be quick paced, have great characters and lots and lots of history with a pinch of romance. Many of the characters and plot twists are the result of research into the events and people living in 1883's Egypt, but also from insights gathered on the many ancient peoples included in the series. I hope you enjoy the adventures of Ben, Louisa, and Abu.
